The LSA (Light Sport Aircraft) category of aircraft is diluted among the general aviation community, online media, and on aviation resources currently available. And, those of us who know light sport aircraft realize this category can be very different, in many ways compared to typical general aviation category. So far, there hasn’t been a single LSA oriented online resource to allow users to share idea, experiences, and knowledge, to build community, or a single place that meets the unique needs of light sport aircraft owners, pilots, and enthusiasts. 

With that in mind, this website is a “seed”… planted in good faith, with little expectations, but with high hopes. The hope that with an uncomplicated idea, that over time it hopefully grows into somethings that builds understanding, awareness, knowledge, advocacy, and safety for all light sport aircraft owners, private and sport pilots, and enthusiasts who are interested in the category of LSA aircraft. We are hoping this seed will grow into something larger than all of us, and into something vastly resourceful and ultimately useful to all of our readers and users.

The idea is like that old saying, “Build it and they will come.”  
This is a place for “us”, the LSA community, to build it in to something great! 

It is not a cry for donations, or a project that is expected to create cashflow, and not intended to be a profitable business. There may a few ads posted here and there to cover operation costs, hosting, registrations, and licensing for the software used to create the site. Ideally, this site will grow and stand on its own financially, and will become a non-profit entity, maybe even grow in to a “light sport pilots association”. The sky is literally the limit.
